Born in Lakewood, Thomas was a lifelong resident of Manchester, his obituary says.
He participated in Little League and baseball before graduating from Manchester High School in 2020.
Thomas “absolutely enjoyed” working as an Auto Technician for Pine Belt Subaru in Lakewood, reads his memorial.
He was passionate about spending his free time outdoors — riding quads, fishing, bow hunting, camping, and more. Thomas also had an enthusiastic and insightful mind and loved to animate his own stories.
Thomas’ surviving family members include his loving parents, Thomas R. and Michelle Davis; sisters, Briana Scandiffio, Lauren Accetturo and her husband Anthony; aunts, Debi Laws, Elizabeth Antonacci, Dawn Rossi and her husband Patrick and Uncles, Ashley Burton Davis, Steven Elliott; cousins, Nichole Marques, George Murray, Charlie Wright, David, Derrick Fuller; Great Aunt Michelle and her husband Ed Deevey, and many more.
Meanwhile, nearly $7,900 had been raised on a GoFundMe launched by Thomas himself in July 2022 following his initial diagnosis with DIPG, a rare type of brain cancer. A portion of the proceeds would be sent to charity for further DIPG research, according to the campaign, which was still accepting donations as of Friday, May 19.
Donations were also being made in Thomas’ honor to DIPG The Cure Starts Now Cancer Resource Network (10280 Chester Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45215).
Thomas’ memorial was held at Oliverie Funeral Home in Manchester on Monday, May 15.
“There are no words to express our sadness and condolences,” reads a tribute on Thomas’ obituary. “Thomas was and will always be in our hearts and in our prayers. He will be deeply missed.”
